The float valve is hidden behind a flipping panel and controls the water level.
It fits for tap water pressure in most areas. However, when water pressure is too high, the float valve may not be able to stop the water.
In the above cases, you may need to adjust the faucet to allow smaller volume to pass to the float (smaller volume comes with smaller pressure). Or install a pressure valve or simply a hose switch could help.
